Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

This has been one of my favorite pizza places for many years. The services good, the staff is friendly and they have some excellent honey barbecue wings. If you go there during the game you can get them for half-price.

We enjoy this place as a local hangout, great outdoor patio, live music nights, pizza - beer specials - easy going good time! We usually order the House Special Pizza - we like the venue and the relaxed atmosphere. Good times good prices!

Service was VERY slow. Waited almost an hour for our sandwiches. The excuse given was there was a large group on the other side, but a table came in after us and got their food before us. No apologies. Pretty sure I won't be going back.

2nd visit 5 stars for service and food value 3 stars for atmosphere (patio) Again sat on the outdoor patio for dinner. This time the same cover band was way TOO LOUD. I am so sick of not being able to have a conversation with the person sitting next to me during dinner hours because I am forced listen to covers (and I am a musician!) - why Florida, why? ;) Also, there is a dividing line on the outdoor patio for smoking - if you are under the roof it's non-smoking, if you are not, it's smoking. We sat on the under-the-roof non-smoking side near the line and the entire table on the other side of the line chained smoked nonstop between bites of wings (how do you have a wing in 1 hand and a lit cigarette in the other???? hurl!!!!) all night long. Apologies for my rant about cover bands and smokers - on to the things a restaurant can control like the service and food. Antipasto salad rocked again - great deal for $5.99 and plenty for 2. Ordered the supreme pizza - it was good but a little meaty/greasy for my liking but the carnivore BF dug it. The 2 of us were out of there for $20 - great value for the food quality. The young gal server here is absolutely wonderful - personable, friendly, efficient - they should clone her! And every other server who works there is awesome too - never a plate sitting on the table for more than a minute (and they were very busy).

The only reason I don't give this place one star is because the waitress Elizabeth I think her name was was very friendly. Look, Gino's NY style pizza or Dominic's is the closest thing to pizza from New York. This pizza at Fairway is just like Domino's or Little Caesar's. Plain and simple. Also I ordered a large pizza. That wasn't large. A large "pie" is 18". This large pie was 14". Tiny slices. Not a terrible taste though. But it's just like visiting a Domino's except more expensive. We won't be back.

Not the best pizza but not the worst. Just okay. Its made to order so the wait is long. The place is LOUD! TVs blaring, people yell/talking. The acoustics are just BAAAAD for communication. Brought the furkid with us and ate out back the second time, kinda nice. But the potato salad and salad was just okay. May try and visit again someday, but w very competitive pizza places around here, its unlikely.

Please don't waste your time! Terrible service, terrible food and a restaurant that has no clue how to conduct business....keep walking, it's not worth your time or your hard earned money!

My favorite thing about Fairway Pizza is the staff is extremely friendly and it's dog friendly. They even bring a little doggy water bowl for your pup. They have a good beer selection, at reasonable prices. My favorite dish has been the smoked fish spread. It's not the best I've ever had, but it's pretty good. The sandwiches are big and not bad either. It's definitely an older crowd that hangs out there, and it's not the cleanest place ever. But it's a nice place to have a couple drinks, and get a pretty cheap meal. I haven't tried the pizza actually, but next time I will.

Fairway is a nice local spot to go grab a pizza. There is a spacious interior and a large deck area outside to sit at. Sports are always playing on the various TVs throughout the restaurant, so if you're trying to catch a game, this could be a good spot. The pizza has a medium thickness in the crust, with a nice crisp crunch to it. Toppings are plentiful, and you can always create your own pie (or a half and half if you and your eating buddy can't decide). Salads are very generous portion-wise (a large will feed the entire table, practically)...although they are pretty standard when it comes to ingredients. However, the prices are affordable, which keeps you coming back!

As others have mentioned, this is really a combination pizza parlor and sports bar which is unique in and of itself. Between outside dining and the various rooms inside, it's much larger than the outside would indicate. The pizza was more than serviceable, and my friend seemed to like his pasta dish. Normally this would receive a 2-star, but it's so popular with locals and friends of mine, that it's probably one star better than the experience which I had. Worth trying for yourself.

I gave Fairway a second chance after the first meal there was awful; big mistake. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken and side salad. What came in the package we have no idea. The "chicken" made McDonald's nuggets look awesome. I think it was breaded manufactured something, but it was not chicken. The salad was shredded lettuce and one green pepper slice. Just awful food. Last time their food was delivered to the table cold and stale. Save your money.

I so wanted to like this place. I've been here twice. The servers were friendly and accommodating - and the inside was spacious and comfortable - very nice inside.. but I was very disappointed with the food each time. The pizza was tasteless and totally forgettable, the greek salad was loaded with ham (?) and the dressing oily and flavorless. This seems like a popular spot and would be fun to hang out, especially if you're there to drink beer and watch football - but I would never go back for a meal.

Truly poor pizza, better than Domino's but not Pizzaria quality and a small pie to boot. The crust is doughy and puffy around the edges, nothing like how a crispy and chewy pizza crust should be. The sauce is good but there is something really wrong with the cheese, it is very dry, not stringy or greasy at all. The bread for the sandwiches is soft, hardly no crust. It is a shame because the dining room is nice. Pinocchio;s on Alderman& 19 has a far superior pie, but the dining room is regular pizza joint. I like the outdoor bar but eat somewhere else first and stop in for a drink.

Dive bar disguised as a pizza parlor. Drunky, older patrons early in the afternoon. Owner, called himself 'Steve' seemed drunky too and in need of a bath and a shave. Pizza dough was frozen with a distinctive bread stick/cracker like quality with no flavor. Steve says they don't make the dough there. Canned sauce, toppings etc, but somehow better than say..Dominoes. Greek salad had bagged chopped iceberg lettuce that tasted like it had been in the fridge for weeks, Feta from a bag, potato salad from a plastic tub and peperoncini from a jar. Nothing was made fresh. They food prep crew gave up a long time ago. Oh, they added a dessert area over the summer. None of the fancy desserts on display are made fresh there either and they all looked weeks old stale. Sticky floors, dirty walls, dirty tables, disgusting bathrooms...a money pit on its way down, go soon. Who knows how long before the owners run out of credit? Such a pity.

First visit. Came because of the Suncoast Animal League Pet wash. Found out they allow pets on the back patio which is great. My Allie loved being apart of our lunch date. Great food and great service. Will visit again!

Horrible delivery experience, but the management was really swell about it. Offered us a free meal next time since we were in a hurry. Limited "gourmet" toppings--whatever that means. I just like roasted red pepper and pinenuts and think other people would too if they gave it half a chance. Wings were breaded (oops, forgot to go naked) but still really good, I thought! Pizza was cold when it arrived, but featured a truly great sauce. They go a little heavy on the cheese, so if you like that--you're in luck. You dont? (me neither) Just tell them to tread lightly...

About six months past, I ordered a pizza with my standard toppings for pickup to try. I knew I didn't hate it but I just couldn't remember the taste. A gang of us just went over tonight so the jury came in force. I won't mix words. The salad with a vinaigrette was so tasty. I loved the mixtures of cheese, ham, and everything that's good for ya! I sampled a slice of pie from one of my friends. It had eggplant and, oh my, delicioso! The crust was so tasty and handmade. But I had an old fashioned Italian oven baked "grinder" because I've been searching for a special taste. I found it! The bread was just oven perfect and the blend of the meats, cheese, and veggies hit the high notes! Go for the yummy Sweet Potato Fries as a side and you won't feel guilty about anything else! Everyone loved their selections of pizza. I will tell you that my Italian neighbor (who makes an Antipasto to die for.) said the pasta was "alright." Tiffany served us and added to a great experience. Kathie, one of the owners, made it a point to stop by and ask us how everything was. That was highly appreciated as we knew she really cared. I can tell you that there are several rooms, an inside and outside bar, along with outside seating. The layout is great. Overall, we will come back for more. This placed scored with me. I love it when I find a great place and it's like 10 minutes away from home!

By far my favorite pizza joint in the area. My family has been enjoying the salads, wings and pizza for many years!! Service is excellent and friendly!!

Won playing trivia there and got a $50 gift certificate. Told it was empty when we tried to use it. Spoke with Management and told them I wanted to know when it was loaded and when it was spent. They admitted it was never loaded and loaded it. No apology. I asked for cash instead of the gift card since we had already tried to use it and was told that it would defeat the purpose of the gift card. I didn't agree since we paid cash when it was refused. Beware of Fairway Pizza gift cards.

This has become one of our favorite spots to go for some pizza and to listen to music. The pizza dough is light, not greasy and they put on just the right amount of toppings. The salads are basic but tasty. Many Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights you can find a duo called Flying High playing in the bar area outside, and they play a bit of everything, from Dave Matthews to the Beatles. Great harmonies! The seating outside is cool even in the summer because of many huge fans placed all around. The waitstaff, especially Jen, are very friendly and the owner is always present, making sure everything is okay. It is a great neighborhood hangout.
